Discovery

In Uzbekistan, Silk Road cities sit next to villages where life still moves at a local pace.

Samarkand and Bukhara are striking, of course. But what people remember most is often the welcome: tea shared at home, a conversation in the market, a meal with a host family. Between desert, oases, and mountains, the trip feels grounded and close to people.

Our founder

People at the heart of every encounter.

My name is Navbakhor Boudot. I created AFOR to connect France and Uzbekistan through trips that are useful for local communities and meaningful for travelers.

Our tours are built around real encounters. You take time to listen, understand, and share everyday life instead of rushing through stops.

Artisan knowledge transfer

We arrange meetings with weavers, potters, and embroiderers to support living craftsmanship.

Local impact

Each journey helps fund local projects.

Part of every departure supports our work in Gurlan and beyond: tree planting, education support, and women's entrepreneurship.
